12-hour Karbi Anglong bandh tomorrow

Kohima, July 3 (UNI) The Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) and Karbi Students' Association (KSA) have called for a 12-hour bandh at Karbi Anglong and North Cachar Hills District of Asom from 0500 hrs tomorrow.

The ASDC and KSA in a joint release here today, have stated that the bandh was called to pressurise the Centre and Asom government for formation of an autonomous statehood with Asom.

The bandh in these districts would have no effect in Asom, but severely affect Manipur and Nagaland.
