Woman army officer commits suicide in Jammu

Jammu, July 2: A woman army officer hanged herself to death at her place of posting on the outskirts of the city here late last night, an army spokesperson today said.

Army Captain Megha Razdan of Engineer's Regiment was found hanging in her room at Kunjwani late yesterday, Spokesperson Lt Col S D Goswami told sources.

He said the reasons for the extreme step were yet to be ascertained. An FIR had been lodged and a Court of Inquiry (COI) initiated in that connection, he informed.
