TTD Chairman laid foundation stone for Kalyanamandam

Visakhapatnam, July 2 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Chairman B Karunakara Reddy today laid the foundation stone for TTD Kalyanamandapam at Cheepurapalli in Vizianagaram district.

Speaking on the occasion here, he said the second phase of Kalyanamastu, the prestigious free mass marriage programme would be held on August 26.

Dr Reddy said Kalyanamastu would conduct marriages for the poor families, coinciding with the birth star of Lord Venkateswara.

He said TTD would perform 50,000 mass marriages and more, if needed. People from various walks of life were urged to extend their services to Kalyanamastu, he added.
