Sajid Nadiadwala upbeat over 'Heyy Babyy' buzz on internet

Mumbai, July 2 (UNI) Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala is upbeat over the buzz created by his upcoming multi-starrer 'Heyy Babyy'' on the internet.

Talking to reporters here, Sajid said, ''No sooner was the film's promo uploaded on youtube.com last week, the opening day itself created a record of sorts registering about 10,000 hits.'' The film stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Vidya Balan. It is scheduled for release on August 24.

'Heyy Babyy' has made a huge impact in the digital space with the promo and if this is an early indicator for the buzz of the film, then it is touted to be a sure fire blockbuster in the box office too, he said.

''Yes, I did get a call from my overseas distributor who informed me about the excellent buzz on youtube.com and overseas, the promos have generated. It's just overwhelming,'' Sajid said.

'Heyy Babyy' is also been in the news for the 21 actresses who will be performing in a song, and with a special song shot with superstar Shahrukh Khan.

Says director Sajid Khan, who has ticked many funny bones in his avatar as a TV host and anchor, ''I have made the film putting myself in the audience shoes. I have tried to slip into the skin of the audience. I want to entertain them. In fact, the characters of Akshay, Fardeen and Ritesh reflect different aspects of my personality.'' UNI
