Radico income up 20pc at 1,365.79cr in FY07

New Delhi, July 2: Liquor company Radico Khaitan Ltd today said its total income rose by 20 per cent at Rs 1,365.79 crore in FY07 as compared to Rs 1,135.40 crore during FY06.

The company's net profit for FY07 was at Rs 45.25 crore, up 0.48 per cent from Rs 45.03 crore in the previous year.

The profit before depreciation, interest and tax (PBDIT) was also higher by 15 per cent during the year at Rs 99.96 crore against Rs 87.21 crore in the last fiscal, the company said in a statement.

''The results reflect the fundamental strength of our company and its brands. Going forward, we expect to see continued improvement in our margins and revenue growth. We are looking at aggressively expanding,'' Radico Khaitan Ltd Chairman Lalit Khaitan said in the statement.

The company is best known for its brands 8 PM whisky, Contessa Rum and Old Admiral Brandy.
