Govt orders transfer of Anganwadi teachers enmasse

Puducherry, July 2 (UNI) In a sudden development, the administration had decided to transfer Anganwadi teachers enmasse.

According to official souces, Welfare Minister Kandasamy had issued the transfer order following allegations by several legislators that the Anganwadi teachers were indulging in irregularities.

However, over 500 Anganwadi teachers went on casual leave enmasse today and were planning to meet the Chief Minister in this regard.
