AP govt to repatriate all non-local employees by July 15: CM
Hyderabad, July 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the government would implement the GO 610 by repatriating all non-local government employees from Telangana region by July 15.
Speaking to newspersons here, he said the government has identified 7000 non-local employees, including 3000 in the police department, working in Telangana region. All the identified employees would be sent to their own regions, he said, adding that the relieving orders were also given to the employees who want to leave voluntarily.
Alleging that the opposition parties were politicising GO 610 to gain political mileage, he said, the parties should appreciate the government's efforts instead of resorting to agitation on the issue.
Stating that the government was also implementing the GO in Corporations as it was not mentioned in Presidential Order, the Chief Minister said the issue was being resolved after discussing with the NGO affiliated to Andhra and Telangana regions.
He said the state government was finding other non-local employees, who joined between 1975 and 1980, and whose names were not included in the list of repatriation.
