Rohit Ferro to invest Rs 14.13 cr in new furnace

New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) Rohit Ferro Tech Ltd today said its board had approved an investment Rs 14.13 crore to set up a new 9 MVA furnace in West Bengal that would raise its total ferro chrome capacity to 1,80,000 metric tonnes per annum.

The project will be funded through a bank loan of Rs 8.48 crore and the balance capex requirement shall be met through internal accruals, company said in a statement.

The fifth furnace will add up around 15,000 MTPA of production.
