Meeting held at Kolkata to promote Tripura tourism
Agartala, Jun 29 (UNI) Tripura Tourism Minister Anil Sarkar has held a meeting with West Bengal Tourism Corporation at Kolkata yesterday, official sources here today said.
It was decided in the meeting that initiatives would be taken to promote Tripura's tourism in and outside North East, sources said.
Altogether 17 tour operators, who attented the meeting, had ensured Mr Sarkar to send tourists to Tripura and publicise the state's tourism potentials and spots in West Bengal.
Tripura's tourism department had already engaged 13 tour-operating agencies in West Bengal to endorse the natural beauty, culture and heritage of Tripura in various tourist destination circuits.
