HP University adopts Lyngdoh Committee Report
Shimla, Jun 29: Himachal Pradesh University adopted Lyngdoh Committe Report on functioning of Student's Central Associations in an executive council meeting today.
Acting on the Supreme Court orders, the University approved the amendments to the Consititutions of Student's Central Associations.
Univerisity also scrapped the affilation of a Himachal College of Physical Education, Shogi. State Government had withdrawn 'No Objection Certificate' from this college.
Executive Council meeting presided by university Vice Chancellor Anil Wilson also decided to promote ten faculty members in compliance to 'Career Advancement Scheme' and to recruit eight lecturers.
Council also decided to form corpus fund for payment of pension and gratuity.
