Governor lauds CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University

Shimla,Jun 29 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje lauded the efforts of Chaudary Sharwan Kummr Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University in raising the socio-economic status of farmers of the state.

The Governor was addressing the university community after laying foundation stone of the environmental science post graduate block in the college of agriculture at Palampur today.

Mr Kokje said that a Vice-Chancellor in present times has multi-farious role in addition to an academician and administrative par excellence.

The out-going Vice-Chancellor D S Rathore informed about the activities of institution in all academic, research and extension programmes. He said that this is the first university in the country to get ISO certification.
