Two militants arrested, huge cache of arms recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar June 28 (UNI) Security forces arrested two militants and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition in Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.

He said troops of 32 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) arrested two miliants Mohammad Shafi Malla, resident of Kralgund and Abdul Rahim Malla, resident of Federpora during a search operation in village Federpora.

Two Chinese grenades and one Improvised Explosive Device (IED) were recovered from their houses.

In a joint operation in Darinoor area near the Line of Control (LoC), where five militants were killed on June 24, troops and police recovered five AK rifles, 15 AK magazines, 132 AK rounds, six hand grenades, five Quran-i-Shariefs, four Shells, and Rs ten thousand in Indian currency along with other items.
