Saudi Ambassador meets GAIL CMD over proposed petrochemicals plant
New Delhi, June 28 (UNI) To ensure greater cooperation with India, the Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to India Saleh Moh'd Al-Ghamdi today met senior officials of state-owned GAIL (India) Ltd and discussed possible mutual cooperation, specially in gas and gas related business.
The setting up of a petrochemicals plant based on propane feedstock sourced from Saudi Arabia by the state-owned firm was the leading issue that Mr Al-Ghamdi discussed with GAIL Chairman and Managing Director U D Choubey.
The Ambassador assured the gas utility major for feedstock procurement on long term basis, wherever possible.
