Mayawati effects minor changes in portfoilios of ministers

Lucknow, Jun 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today effected minor changes in the portfoilios of her ministers.

Cabinet minister Swami Prasad Maurya was divested of the Revenue department and handed over the Co-operative department. Similarly, Phagu Singh Chauhan was divested of the Prisons department and given the Revenue department.

With this change, the Chief Minister would also keep the Prisions department. Minister of state (Independent charge) Anant Kumar Mishra, who so far had the Revenue department, would now only handle the Health and Education department.
