Agucha village all set to enter record book in community marriage
Jaipur, June 28 (UNI) Agucha village in Bhilwara district is all set to enter the Limca Book of Records after it conducts the largest ever all religious community marriage of 2100 couples belonging to different religions on July 17.
The marriage ceremony is being organised at the initiative of 1008 Sri Baba Balaknath Maharaj.
Addressing a press conference here today, the Maharaj said: ''The speciality of the community marriage is that it is open to all religions.'' The marriage will be solemnised in accordance with the religious tradition and practice of the couples, he said, adding already 1965 couples have been registered and the marriage ''is complety free of cost''.
On community marriage, the Maharaj said he wanted to promote this marriage system to fight against dowry and lack of social security as these were major causes of cocern, especially in the northern India.
Sri Sri 1008 Baba Balaknath Vicharak (Satsang) Seva Manch Mukhya Vicharak Mahesh Dhawaniya said not only the marriage will be free of cost but the newly-wed couples would be given other gadgets like sewing machine, almirah, utensils, wedding dress and other household items to start a new life.
