UTI opportunities fund declares tax-free dividend of 17 per cent

Mumbai, June 27 (UNI) UTI opportunities Fund has declared tax-free dividend of 17 per cent (Rs 1.70) per unit on the face value of Rs 10.

The record date for the dividend is June 29, 2007. All unitholders registered under the dividend option of UTI opportunities Fund as on the record date, will be eligible for this dividend, an UTI release said today.

The scheme had earlier declared a dividend of 15 per cent (Rs 1.50 per unit on face value of Rs 10 in July 2006).

The Net Asset Value (NAV) per unit as on June 26, 2007 was Rs 13.54 under the dividend option, the release added.
