Two killed and four injured in accidents in Kashmir
Srinagar, June 27 (UNI) Two person were killed and four others were wounded in different accidents in the Kashmir valley today, a police spokesman said.
He said one Mohammad Abbas Naikoo was injured critically when a speedy tipper hit him at Qazigund in south Kashmir district of Anantnag today. He was immediately shifted to a hospital where he died.
A Sumo collided with a vehicle coming from opposite direction at Lehtpora on Srinagar-Jammu national highway resulting in on the spot death of one Junaid Ahmad naik and injuries to another person.
Two people were injured when a truck hit a motorcycle at Drangbal, Pampore today. The injured were hospitalised.
An icecream seller, Mohammad Shabir Hussain, resident of Khalsipora, Bihar, was injured when a big branch of a tree fell on him at Bachi Darwaza. He was hospitalised.
A house was completely gutted and building of Jammu and Kashmir Bank partially damaged in a fire incident at Wanpora in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
