HC directs LAO to serve notices to petitioners

Kochi, June 27 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today directed the Land Acquisition Officer (LAO) to serve individual notices to all petitioners in the land acquisition case for the Smart City Infotech Project before taking any further action.

Justice K Padmanabhan Nair passed the order while disposing a batch of writ petitions against the land acquisition for the Smart City Project.

The Court also observed that if the authorities proposed to proceed with any rehabilitation scheme that fact should be intimated to the petitioners after fixing the exact benefits they were entitled to get.
