Youth Cong members to be in Distt Grievances Committees

Chandigarh, June 26 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said he would issue directions to include a representative of Haryana Youth Congress in the list of members of each District Public Relations and Grievances Committee.

The Chief Minister, who was addressing a gathering of office bearers of various district units of Haryana Youth Congress at his residence here, was earlier urged by Haryana Youth Congress president Sanjay Chokkar to make such a provision for the Youth Congress members.

Mr Hooda said that the representative of the Haryana Youth Congress in the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee would be able to lay the viewpoint of the people at the time of taking up of a grievance for redressal.

He called upon the office bearers of the Haryana Youth Congress to publicise the welfare programmes of the State government so as to ensure that people be made aware of them.

He also urged them to popularise not only the policies and programmes of the state government, but also those being implemented by the Central Government like National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Bharat Nirman Project and other such schemes.
