Varsities, degree colleges to contribute in plantation drive

Lucknow, June 26 (UNI) All state universities and degree colleges will be actively involved in the day-long special plantation drive, scheduled to be organised on July 31.

A unique target to plant a staggerring one crore saplings has been fixed for this drive.

Principal Secretary, Education R K Mittal has issued a circular addressed to all concerned officers of the higher education department to actively involve the varsities and degree colleges so as to make this drive a success.
