Two live grenades recovered from a vehicle by CRPF in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 26 (UNI) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today averted a major tragedy when they recovered two live grenades from a vehicle on Srinagar-Uri road this afternoon.
A CRPF spokesman said troops of 164 battalion intercepted a Tata Sumo vehicle at Barthana near Qamarwari on the road this afternoon.
During the search of the vehicle, security forces recovered two live hand grenades from a lunch box.
He said all the nine persons, including the driver, travelling in the vehicle from Sopore, are being questioned.
