Silver, gold decline further on weak global advices
Mumbai, June 25 (UNI) Both the precious metals declined further on weak global advices today with Silver falling by Rs 150 per kg and Gold by just Rs five per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Association.
Silver fineness .999 opened low at Rs 18,050 on poor demand.
Later, it drifted lower and closed at Rs 18,020 with a huge loss of Rs 150 from yesterday's close of Rs 18,170.
In London, Silver also fell at USD 12.81/12.85 per troy ounce against USD 12.97/13.00 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard gold (99.5) opened high at Rs 8,665 on better buying support. It later declined and closed at yesterday's level Rs 8,650. Pure gold (99.9) also opened upwards on reduced stock supply and closed low at Rs 8,700 with a loss of just Rs five from its previous close.
In London, gold moved downwards at USD 646.00/469.50 per troy ounce 648.00/651.00 per troy ounce in New York Monday.
