Seven nominations filed today for Presidential election

New Delhi, June 26 (UNI) Seven nominations were filed today for the July 19 Presidential election, taking the total number to 28 so far.

Mr Kondekar Znyosho from Latur, Maharashtra, submitted two sets of nomination papers. One set did not contain the basic Electoral rolls displaying his name in the list and was immediately rejected. In the other set, Mr Znyosho submitted the Electoral rolls displaying his name and also made the statutory security deposit of Rs 15,000. His nomination papers did not contain the signatures of proposers or seconders.

The nomination papers filed by Mr Vinod Kumar Singh of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, contain only the Electoral Rolls displaying his name in the list and do not include the necessary security deposit nor the signatures of proposers or seconders.

Mr Hari Om Tiwari also from Agra, UP, filed his nomination papers along with the certified copy of the Electoral rolls displaying his name in the list and Rs 15,000 as the statutory security deposit. Mr Tiwari's nomination was lacking in proposers and seconders signatures.

Mr Omprakash Aggarwal of Nangloi, Delhi, filed his nomination papers along with the certified copy of the Electoral rolls displaying his name in the list but no other documents were attached nor the security money was deposited.

Mr Sukhdev Rai Kaushal of Chandigarh filed his nomination papers along with the Electoral rolls displaying his name in the list and the statutory security deposit of Rs 15,000. Mr Kaushal's nomination was devoid of any proposers or seconders.

The last nomination of the day was filed by Mr Satish of village Malcha Patti of Sonepat from Haryana. His nomination paper was submitted along with the certified copy of the Electoral rolls and the statutory security deposit of Rs 15,000. However, there were no proposers and seconders signatures.
