Rajnath cautions against indiscipline in the BJP

New Delhi, June 26 (UNI) Irked by the ''knowing or unknowing indisciplined conduct'' of some party leaders, the BJP today cautioned them to refrain from airing their views in the public.

This warning was given by BJP President Rajnath Singh in his remarks summing up the deliberations of the two day National Executive. "The party can't condone indicipline and the leaders and cadre will have to punitive actions", he said.

Briefing mediapersons on the deliberations, BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said the BJP President, however, told the Executive that the BJP, true to its democratic traditions, will offer an appropriate forum for the partymen to air their views and grievances but they could not misuse their position to malign the party.

He said there was no opposition or contradiction from anybody in the Executive. The meeting in its evening session, the party discussed the coming elections to Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assemblies where the party had high stakes.
