Parliamentary standing committee visits CFTRI

Mysore, June 26 (UNI) A 12-member parliamentary standing committee on science, technology, environment and forest visited the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) here today.

The team led by Chairman P G Narayana was received by the CFTRI Director V Prakash and other staff members. Later, the team members were taken around the institute.

The committee members held a meeting with Dr Prakash and other scientists and discussed various issues, including new technologies and services.
