IndiGo starts operations in Bangalore-Nagpur sector

Bangalore, June 26 (UNI) IndiGo, a low-cost domestic airline, commenced operations of its tenth brand-new Airbus A320 on its new Bangalore-Nagpur sector on June 24.

The private carrier has also launched daily services on Bangalore-Delhi and Bangalore-Pune sectors.

Its President and CEO, Bruce Ashby said in a statement today that services on the new sectors were to enhance connectivity between these important cities for the convenience of customers.

With the arrival of its 10th aircraft, IndiGo now operates 70 daily services to 14 destinations-- Agartala, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara.

IndiGo's fleet strength is expected to swell with the arrival of five additional brand-new A320 aircraft by the year end, taking the total to 15 aircrafts.
