Girls outshine boys in the Aurangabad division of SSC results

Aurangabad, (Mah) June 26 (UNI) An Aurangabad girl, Maithili Bhaskar Rajendra of Sharda Mandir Kanya Prashala, has topped the local general merit list of the State Secondary School (SSC) certificate examination by securing a whopping 625 out of 650 marks.

Another female, Pranoti Sudheer Kulkarni of the Maharashtra Public School, stood second in order of merit in the division with 617 marks.

The third rank was shared by four candidates, each securing 615 marks, including three from Aurangabad and one from Parbhani.

The Aurangabad merit holders of the third position include Adkar Shardul Suresh (Sant Meera Vidyalaya), Zavar Ankita Radheshyam (Saraswati Bhuwan Prashala and Salve Shilpa Suresh (Shishu Vihar High School).

Besides, Savandkar Kiran Namdeorao of Bal Vidya Mandir, from Parbhani also shared the third rank in the Aurangabad division.

Salve Shilpa Suresh of Shishu Vihar High School, Aurangabad, stood first among the Backward Class (BC) candidates with 615 marks while Domale Ajinkya Vaijanath of Saraswati Bhuwan Prashala stood second with 612 marks). The third rank among the BC candidates was shared by Bhondwe Priyanka Shivaji, of Champavati Vidyalaya Beed, and Ranvir Pavankumar Gangadhar of Bal Vidya Mandir of Parbhani.

Both these candidates have secured 610 marks.

Minhajbano Mohammad Isaq of Mustafa Urdu Nigh High School, Aurangabad, has emerged as topper among the night school candidates by securing 445 marks.

Ganjre Ganesh Appa of Dnyaneshwar Vidyalaya, Jintur, stood first in order of merit among physically challenged category with 565 marks.

A total of 1,37,933 candidates appeared in this examination, out of which 1,11,075 were successful, taking the passing percentage of the division to 80.53.

The division comprises the districts of Aurangabad, Beed, Jalna, Parbhani and Hingoli.
