AP: 3 kids, woman drown as auto falls into canal

Mandapeta (East Godavari), June 26: Three children, including an infant and a woman drowned and another person injured when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling fell into a canal after it was hit by a lorry at Veerabhadra Puram near here.

Police said last evening the deceased were identified as Nani Babu (one), Beera Bobby (two), Beera Satya Bharati (nine) and Beera Gannamma (50).

While the bodies of Nani Babu and Beera Bobby were fished out, the bodies of the other two were yet to be traced, police added.
