12 Delhi school students qualify for space design competition finals
New Delhi, Jun 26 (UNI) Twelve Delhi students have been selected for the finals of the International Space Settlement Design Competition to be held at NASA's Johnson Space Center in the United States next month.
The team, comprising students from Amity International School, Delhi, is first till date to be selected from the Capital for the prestigious competition that would design the future 'space centre'.
The students selected for the design competition are finalists of the Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition organised by Johnson Space Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Boeing of US.
To qualify competitors, representing Asia, had to create a 40-page proposal detailing factors required for constructing a space settlement.
