Two killed, 14 wounded in Doda grenade attack

Jammu, June 25 (UNI) At least two people were killed and 14 others wounded, including five women, in a militant attack today at Doda General bus stand here, official sources said.

The grenade was apparently targetted on the security petrol at the bus stand, but missed its actual target, the sources said.

The seriously wounded, identified as Trabhi Devi and Zulfa, were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while the others were hospitalised or given first aid in Doda district hospital.

The deceased were indentified as Nisar Ahmed and Riaz Ahmed of Doda district.

Security forces have launched an intensive search operation to track down the grenade thrower.
