TVS Electronics earns Rs 77.5 cr in Q4

Chennai, June 25: TVS Electronics has earned a revenue of Rs 77.5 crore during the quarter ending March 31, 2007, a growth of 19 per cent over the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The PBT was Rs two crore as compared to Rs 1.8 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

A company press release said during the quarter ending March 2007, the company gained back its DMP market leadership and achieved a share of 40 per cent. The newly launched Pro Series contributed significantly to the market share growth.

The total income generated in the year 2006-07 was Rs 277.1 crore as against Rs 265.7 crore in 2005-06. The PAT was at Rs 1.9 crore.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 2007 grew by five per cent to Rs 272.4 crore, from Rs 259.5 crore in the previous financial year.

The company board had recommended a dividend of 7.5 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2007, the release added.
