K'taka: 3 killed, 8 injured in a road accident

Bangalore, Jun 25: Three people were killed and eight were injured when a Tempo in which they were traveling collided head-on against a state run corporation bus in the wee hours near Birur Railway gate in Chickmagalur district today.

Police said the mishap occurred around 0430 hours near the Railway gate and the injured were admitted to a local general hospital.

The ill-fated Tempo, belonging to State Tourism department, was coming to Bangalore while the KSRTC bus was proceeding to Shimoga.
