Silver up, gold down on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Jun 25: Silver resumed today on a high note gaining Rs 45 per kg while gold fell by Rs five per ten gm in the opening session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of Spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,240, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,670, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,715.
