Silver, gold decline on weak global advice
Mumbai, June 25 (UNI) Silver and gold declined on weak global advices today with the white metal down by Rs 25 per kg and Gold by Rs 15 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Association.
Silver fineness .999 opened high at Rs 18,240 on good demand.
Later, it fell and closed at Rs 18,170 with a loss of Rs 2O from Saturday's close of Rs 18,195.
In London, Silver also fell at USD 12.97/13.00 per troy ounce against USD 13.04/13.08 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard gold (99.5) opened flat on moderate demand and closed low at Rs 8,650 with a loss of Rs 20 from its last close.
Pure gold (99.9) opened downwards on thin buying support and closed still lower at Rs 8,705 with a loss of Rs 15 from its previous close.
In London, gold moved down at USD 648.00/651.00 per troy ounce in New York Friday.
