Royal Orchid Hotels posts 59.90 per cent rise in Net Profit
Mumbai, June 15 (UNI) The Royal Orchid Hotels Limited (ROHL), promoted by Chender Baljee, has, on a stand-alone basis, posted a 59.90 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 33.91 crore for the full year ended 31st March 2007 as compared to Rs 21.20 crore last year.
Total Income of the ROHL rose by 46 per cent to Rs. 91.18 crore as compared to Rs. 62.48 crore during the same period last year.
The Board of Directors have recommended a Dividend of 60 per cent which is subject to approval of the shareholders.
The consolidated results of the company for the financial year 2007, reflects a net profit of Rs 35.26 crore, a 52.97 per cent rise from the Rs.23.05 crore from the corresponding last year.
Total Income also rose by 44 per cent at Rs. 124.1 crore from 85.9 crore. Earnings Per Share (EPS) on basic and a diluted basis stands at Rs.13.03 in comparison to Rs. 10.98 for the last financial year.
