Nikkei down 0.5 pc as Advantest, exporters fall

Tokyo, June 25: The Nikkei average fell 0.45 per cent on Monday with investors selling high-tech exporters such as Advantest Corp. and other gainers following a sharp drop in US stocks.

The Nikkei was down 80.95 points at 18,107.68 as of 0001 GMT.

The broader TOPIX index shed 0.38 percent to 1,771.30.
