JK: Militant hideout busted, ammunition recovered

Jammu, June 25: Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered a huge cache at Khadon, North East of Kandi in Rajouri district, official sources said here.

Accoring to sources a column of 60 Rashtriya Rifles (NAGA) and J&K Police launched a search operation in Khajoor area of the district yesterday and busted a militant hideout.

The militants, however, managed to flee from the spot leaving behind arms and ammunition, including clothes, eatables and some medicines.

One AK-47 rifle, two magazines, two Chinese grenades, 31 rounds were recovered and the search was going on to nab the militants, sources added.
