Jammu: Kidnapped youth killed in Gool

Jammu, June 25: A group of unknown militants today gunned down a tribal youth whom they kidnapped from the jungles of Deda Gool, yesterday in district Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today.

The youth has been identified as Gami, 22, son of Main Gujjar of tribal community and resident of Deda Gool, sources said, adding he was kidnapped along with another youth namely Jamal Din, 30 son of Shama Gujjar by the militants from the jungles when they had taken their cattle for grazing.

One of the kidnapped youth was released yesterday but both other was killed and thrown in the jungles at Thethran twenty kilometers from Doda this morning.

Some villagers spotted the body of youth lying in the jungles and informed the police who reached the spot.
