Jailed JMM president Soren faces Kudco murder trial

Giridih, June 25 (UNI): Jailed former union minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) president Sibu Soren was produced in a local court in a 23-years-old Kudko muder case in which three people were lynched.

Amids high security Mr Soren was produced in the court of additional sessions judge(fifth) Pankaj Kumar which fixed July 24 for the next hearing.

Mr Soren, facing life term imprisonment for killing his personal assistant, is presently lodged in Dumka Central jail, also an accused in the Kudco murder case of April 14, 1974.
