Israel seeks preferential trade agreement with India
Kolkata, Jun 25 (UNI) Seeking a greater trade volume, Israel wants preferential trade agreement with India, Israeli Ambassador to India David Danieli said here today.
Speaking to reporters, Mr Danieli, who was here in connection with an exhibition on ancient Hebrew writings and old maps of Jerusalem, said the present volume of India-Israel bilateral trade had grown to one billion US Dollars and it was expected increase further.
" India is now a growing economy and we want to increase our business here. To facilitate that we need to have a preferential trade agreement with India," he said.
Mr Danieli informed that Israeli business houses were now present in real estate, agro-business and software sectors in India.
