Idea Cellular services now cover entire HP

Shimla, Jun 25 (UNI) India's leading GSM mobile services operator, Idea Cellular today claimed that its services were now available in entire Himachal Pradesh following the extension of its network in several key towns of the state.

Idea has extended its services to Kangra, Mcleodganj, Dharamshala, Palampur, Nadaun, Badsar, Shilaro, Narkanda, Kumarsain, Rampur, Kotkhai, Jubbal and Rohru during this month, company's circle head for Haryana and HP Peter Cherain said in a release here.

"With the launch of the services to these areas, the Idea Cellular has become the fourth telecom company after Reliance, BSNL and Airtel to have its network in the entire state", he said.

Idea Cellular is operating in 13 telecom circles of Delhi, HP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala with a subscriber base of 15 million.
