Homeo medicines can cure dengue, chikungunya: IHMA

Kochi, June 25 (UNI) The Indian Homeopathic Medical Association (IHMA) today claimed that viral fevers, including chikungunya and dengue could be treated effectively with homeopathic medicines.

Speaking to reporters here, IHMA general secretary K A M Habeeb said with antibiotics of allopathic system, fever was suppressed and the related symptoms like joint pain and lethargy would persist for two to three months.

''With homeo medicines, all types of viral fevers could be treated within a short span of time without any side-effects whatsoever,'' Dr Habeeb said.

He said the Association was conducting awareness camps in various districts to contain the spread of fever.
