Hindalco net up 70 pc at Rs 2,686.5 crores

New Delhi, June 25: Hindalco Industries Ltd today announced a 70 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 2,686.5 crore for the year ended March 2007 as compared to Rs 1,579.6 crore in the same period last year.

Its total income during 2006-07 increased by 59 per cent to Rs 19,725.1 crore from Rs 12,400.2 crore for the year ended March 2007, a statement said.
