CM announces schools and dispensaries in Chachiot assembly segment

Shimla, Jun 25 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has announced the upgradaton of three senior secondary, two middle schools and the setting up of a primary schools in Chachiot Assembly segment of Mandi district of the state.

The government has been lying special emphasis on the opening of educational and health institutions in the rural areas of the state to provide these facilities to them near their homes, he told a delegation of party leaders of the region that called on him late last evening.

Reiterating his government's resolve for the balanced development of the state, Mr Singh said his government was doing this above political considerations.

Mr Singh said several welfare schemes were being implemented in the rural areas of the state to provide them best facilities near to their homes.

Expressing satisfaction with the pace of development in the rural areas, he said almost all panchayats have been connected with a motorable road, safe drinking water facilities, educational and health facilities.

He announced the upgradation of government high schools of Sarachi, Bassi in and Shikwari to senior gram secondary schools, primary schools at Delag Tikari and Kasaur to middle schools, while announcing the setting up of a primaryu school at Bhalayari.

The Chief Minister also announced the setting up of veterinary dispensaries for Dharot, Musrani and Kandi Tilli villages of the assembly segment.
