CBI submits progress report on fodder scam

Ranchi, June 25 (UNI) CBI today submitted the progress report of fodder SCAM case as per the earlier order of Jharkhand High Court.

Rajesh Kumar, appearing on behalf of CBI, informed the court that out of 7180 witnesses about 3274 had been examined. 3906 witnesses are pending.

Out of 53 scam cases, the court has delivered judgement in 20 cases, while 2 cases are on argument stage. Besides, one each case is on defense witness stage and on 313 Cr.Pc. stage.

The rest 29 cases are pending for prosecution witness evidence.
