BEML Q4 net profit at Rs 93.51 cr

New Delhi, June 25: Mining and construction equipment maker Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) today said it has recorded a 8.58 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 93.51 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 86.12 crore in the same quater previous fiscal.

Total Income of the company increased by 14.5 per cent at Rs 958.48 crore for Q4FY07 as compared to Rs 836.58 crore during Q4FY06, a statement said.

The company's net profit rose by 9.62 per cent to Rs 204.93 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 186.93 crore last fiscal.

Total income increased by 16.5 per cent at Rs 2,479.28 crore this fiscal as compared to Rs 2,126.92 crore in FY06.
