15 students injured as school bus overturns in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jun 25 (UNI) At least 15 students were injured when the school bus they were travelling in went over a divider and overturned at Versova Road in the western suburbs today.

As many as 20 students of Anjuman Islam school were travelling in the bus when the vehicle went over the divider and overturned at about 1700 hrs near Kit-Kat circle in Versova, injuring 15 children, sources said.

All the injured students have been admitted to the nearby Cooper hospital and their condition is said to be out of danger, sources said.

The driver of the school bus is, however, absconding, sources added.
