Lack of exposure an impediment for animation ind

New Delhi, June 24: Hi-end animation training academy, Arena Animation Academy, presented a seminar on animation and revealed the lack of exposure amongst Indian students on the various aspects of animation.

''Our aim is to enable the students to think beyond the obvious and get an insight into the tremendous career options within animation, VFX and gaming,'' said Arena Animation Global Head R Krishnan.

The academy brought various professionals from the Animation community to share their knowledge, thoughts, views and experiences of the animation industry with the students.

Mr Krishnan added that to keep pace with the gaming and a constantly evolving needs of the industry, the animation companies are hunting for animators with the knowledge of every aspect of animation, including both 2D and 3D animation.

He stated awareness should be created among students about the unlimited career opportunities in animation and also a platform needs to be created for budding animators to interact with the industry professionals.

The industry professionals and the student community should be brought together time and again to a common platform for steady a growth of the industry, he opined.
