CBI clocks business volume of Rs 1,36,265 crore

Hyderabad, June 23 (UNI) Central Bank of India (CBI) has registered a business volume of Rs 1,36,265 crore, up 28.94 per cent compared to the previous fiscal.

Inaugurating the 167th bank's branch at Vanasthalipuram here, CBI Executive Director K Subbaraman said the bank had recorded an all-round growth in all the business parameters during the year 2006-07.

He said the bank posted a net profit of Rs 498 crore compared to Rs 257 crore the previous year.
