BMC issues notices to owners of 154 old buildings

Mumbai, Jun 22 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued notices to owners of 154 old buildings and residents living in areas, prone to landslides.

Additional Municipal commissioner Shrikant Singh today said residents of old buildings, that are on the danger list, have been asked to evacuate and shift to other places as there are chances that the structures may collapse during the monsoon.

He said people living in landslide-prone areas have also been issued notices by the BMC.
